“When I had my second baby I suddenly experienced some nipple discomfort that I hadn’t with my first, I thought that because it was my second I wouldn’t need any help but every baby is different. Clare swiftly diagnosed the problems, advised me to use different positioning, and my nipples healed quickly. Her calm energy and willingness to be a source of ongoing support was well worth her reasonable fee. I would recommend her to any nursing parent in the future.” -Marissa
“As a first time mom I expected their to be a learning curve, but never expected that breastfeeding could be so difficult. We took prenatal classes with Clare that were incredibly helpful and we felt prepared to head into those first few weeks. Once our baby arrived, Clare helped us get our latch down, made adjustments and recommendations when my milk came in, taught us to cup feed when my daughter couldn’t latch because of engorgement, helped me figure out how and when to use a pump and eventually guided us through introducing a bottle. As a new mom it is easy to get discouraged and feel like you are failing, and Clare was always so calm, gentle, understanding and supportive. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone who is currently pregnant or at home with a newborn.” -Julia
“I travel a lot for work usually on long haul flights to African countries and work long grueling hours when I am there. When my maternity leave ended I wanted to continue exclusively breastfeeding my daughter if I could. Clare helped assemble the materials I would need to safely store my milk and clean my pumping supplies while on an airplane and helped me navigate a pumping schedule through flights and many times zones. When I got mastitis on the other side of the world she talked me through what I needed to do to care for myself. She also wrote me a letter to carry through airport security stating that I need to carry on bottles and bags of breastmilk and they needed to remain sealed. She did it all with kindness, patience and positivity. I highly recommend her services.” -Ellie
“As a first time mom, I was so thankful to have Clare’s help. We did prenatal courses with her. This gave us confidence we needed to give breastfeeding a try when our little one arrived. Our baby girl was a good eater from the start but her latch was painful. Clare walked us through different strategies to try, checking in often to see how we were doing and to offer more guidance. Her calm and confident demeanor put us at ease and gave us the gentle encouragement we needed. Clare all supported me through my transition back to work, developing a pumping schedule and adjusting as things came up. Breastfeeding is an incredible experience but many questions can come up along throughout your journey, I feel so lucky to have Clare and her expertise there for me when I need her.” -Katharine
